Teacher SOPHIE

Originally from Paris, I studied philosophy and then law. Lawyer by training, I worked for the Ministry of Culture and in the higher education administration.

I have lived in Paris, Montreal, Princeton, and Los Angeles and resettled in Orange County in August 2023. Involved in the French and Francophone community of Southern California, I am trained in teaching French to children and in new teaching methods, particularly through the “Muti-State Pathways to Teaching French” training.

My appetite for teaching French is nourished by both my family environment: my parents and my spouse are teachers, and my three children who were educated alternately in France and the United States in bilingual and/or American schools.
